After the age of forty, many parts of our body activities are slow. At this time, the foods that are more necessary in our body, we have to eat those foods. Nutritionists have given some tips on what to eat and what not to eat to stay away from various diseases including diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure.

So the calcium-rich diet is very much needed at this time. Eat milk, yogurt, cereals, fish regularly. For protein and anti-oxidants you can eat chicken, pulses, soy milk, low-fat cheese.


07. Then we have to talk about vitamin D. Vitamin D can be reduced after forty. This vitamin helps in calcium absorption, enhances immunity, and reduces the risk of colon cancer and breast cancer. But as soon as you reach the age of forty, the efficiency of vitamin D in the body starts to decrease. Sources of vitamin D are eggs, milk, marine fish, etc.



08. You can mix turmeric with milk and drink it.
